Dear Parents and Guardians;

Welcome back and a Happy New Year to you all!! The days of August have come to an end and with this comes September and the beginning of school. The halls of John Paul 1 are once again filled with excitement and energy as our school community returns for another year of learning and sharing.

The staff of Escuela John Paul I School 1 welcomes back our returning students and parents and extends a warm welcome to all new students and parents who are joining our school community. We also wish to welcome our new school staff, Sra. Araceli Bielby, Srta. Carolina Antón, Sra Beatriz Martinez-Ayob, Sr. Pablo Rojas, Ms. Debbie Whelan, Ms. Candice Yaremchuk, and Mrs. Rosie Bock. We know that each of them brings special talents and gifts that they will share with our school community.

At Escuela John Paul I School we believe that each child is accepted for who he/she is and encouraged to achieve to the best of his/her ability. Our staff works hard to ensure that each child is supported in their learning in a challenging, nurturing and loving environment.

As parents, you play an important role in your child’s power to achieve his/her goals. We value a strong family/school partnership that nurtures positive relationships and builds a strong learning community. The staff is looking forward to meeting you at our Meet the Teacher and Program evening on September 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the school gym. Please make plans to join us.

Queridos  Padres/Apoderados,

Bienvenidos y Feliz Año Nuevo a todos!!! Los días del mes de agosto llegaron a su fin y luego comenzo  septiembre y el principio del año escolar. De nuevo, en los pasillos de la escuela John Paul, se escucha el entusiasmo y la energía a medida que nuestra comunidad escolar comienza otro año de aprendizaje.

Los miembros del personal de la Escuela John Paul 1 School da una calurosa bienvenida a antiguos alumnos y padres a nuestra escuela y también una buena bienvenida a nuevos alumnos y padres que eligieron nuestra comunidad escolar.  También queremos desear una calurosa bienvenida a nuestros nuevos miembros del claustro: Sra. Araceli Bielby, Srta. Carolina Antón, Sra. Beatriz Martinez-Ayob, Sr. Pablo Rojas, Sra. Debbie Whelan, Srta. Candice Yaremchuk, y Sra. Rosie Bock. Cada uno de ellos tiene dones y talentos especiales que compartirán con nuestra comunidad escolar.

En la escuela John Paul 1, creemos y aceptamos a cada niño/a  tal como es y los animamos a alcanzar lo mejor de sus capacidades. Nuestro personal trabaja duro para asegurarse que cada niño/a  es ayudado/a en su aprendizaje en un ambiente exigente, culto y lleno de amor.

Como padres, tienen un papel muy importante para alcanzar las metas de sus hijos. Valoramos una fuerte coordinación padres-escuela que nutre relaciones positivas y construye una fuerte comunidad escolar. Hemos organizado una noche informativa para introducir los maestros y también para familiarizarse con el programa de estudio. Los esperamos el 22 de septiembre a las 7:00 p.m., en el gimnasio de la escuela.
